Welcome to the latest reincarnation of uuddlrlrbas.com. I originally started this with a few friends and family who have since moved on to other things. Because this no longer appears to be a community project, I decided to switch things and install a blog to change it up in a way that made more sense coming from one person’s point of view.
I have decided to make this blog evolve based around whatever systems I am currently playing at the time. For now, that would mainly be the Xbox 360. My plan is to write about whatever is going on at the time, and whatever I am playing at that time. I have an idea that has the potential to stop or continue, depending on how interesting a subject (or game) becomes. I will write about any news I discover that seems interesting. However the new mission I have planned is to mainly write about new game releases from a real, experienced gamer’s brutally-honest perspective.
I have a loose format I plan to follow. With most games, I will download the trial or demo version of the game, comment on that first to see if it deserves further attention, and depending on how well-made/interesting a game is, I will continue to post as much helpful and interesting information, videos, tutorials, etc…I can find on the subject. I won’t be able to get to every game, and I’m not worried about that. I figure, if you find this site interesting, and we have the same tastes, what I write about will hopefully be interesting to you. If not, feel free to open my eyes to whatever detail I may be missing.
Why should you listen to me? I don’t really care if you do or not. If anything, this could just be an interesting place to shoot the shit away from mainstream publications online. My opinion should matter a bit though, as I have been playing games for as long as I can remember. I think I still have the first issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly laying around somewhere. I used to play Pong. I loved the Vectrex system. I’ve been around for a while is my point. I must know something about something…
Anyway, I will probably put my gamertag on the site eventually. If you enjoy what I’m writing about here, hit me up online and maybe we can blow shit up and earn some achievements. Until then, my tag is “Hinchmobb”. Later.
